I am a self employed environmental consultant and GIS professional with a diploma in Recreation, Fish and Wildlife as well as a Bachelor of GIS. I have been employed as a Ranger for BC Parks as well as a Technician for various Environmental and Forest Consultants before striking out on my own. My latest projects were as Trail Coordinator for a local rails-to-trails project, GIS mapping and data assembly for a watershed stewardship group, and GIS software training for a First Nations resource company in the Alberta oil sands region. I live happily on my acreage by the river in the mountains of the West Kootenay region of British Columbia.
