Responsibilities As part of our transportation team your responsibilities will include providing clients with traffic engineering and transportation planning services. Typical work projects include traffic impact studies, transportation master plan studies, environmental assessments for transportation facilities, parking studies, traffic data collection/analysis, traffic calming studies and safety assessments.
Requirements -Highly motivated graduate of a University or College program in either civil engineering or the transportation field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in Traffic / Transportation Engineering. -Previous experience in the Consulting Industry would be a definite asset. -Knowledge of and experience using Highway Capacity Manual and Canadian Capacity Guide methodologies and related software (e.g. HCS and Synchro) are required. -The ability to work with GIS tools for analysis and presentation purposes is an asset. -Report writing and research skills as well as an ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision are also important.
