Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc.Forest EcologistThe Environmental Sciences Team requires an Ecologist to work with team members, contractors & other partners associated with mill operations and environmental sciences to initiate, conduct and implement operational research projects. Projects could include areas of environmental, technology advancements or operational improvements relating to cost, safety, quality, production, community and/or environmental objectives. Involves working with many stakeholders to develop project plans, implement trials, overcome obstacles and work toward resolution. Applicants require a B.Sc. in Forestry; or Environmental Sciences; or 5 years renewable resource experience. Must be self-motivated with a genuine desire to support a new approach to forest management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with an innovative approach to problem solving is essential.
