Lands & Right of Way Advisor

Primary Focus:
The successful candidate for this position will undertake a lead role in the facilitation and coordination of the Lands & ROW GIS system. You will facilitate special projects in the realm of public awareness, damage prevention, and database coordination across Canada and the USA.

Responsibilities:
Facilitate, manage and update all required contractual and internal works in the phased Operations Lands & ROW LOID GIS upgrade program.
Improve data analysis and information sharing with related and interested parties.
Develop and implement a framework & standard for data management across Lands & ROW.
LOID enhancements and training across the system.
Record and identify unauthorized activity locations within LOID.
Assist with the identification of supplemental stakeholder groups in Canada (i.e: excavators and planning authorities) and create the appropriate contact listings.
Assist and develop (or from lotus notes integrate) a US Lands & ROW landowner line list.
Database update to all one call membership processes.
Incorporate and manage the Pipeline Depth Monitoring Program with respect to its incorporation into LOIDS.
Undertake all class location and High Consequence Areas report and their incorporation into LOIDS.
Be the Lands & ROW Management of Change (MOC) Coordinator for all change endeavors in the Lands & ROW unit.
Assist with public awareness and damage prevention efforts.

Qualifications:
University graduate in a related field such as environmental studies, engineering or geography.
Five years of on the job experience.
Coursework and experience in Geographic Information Systems and other related e-platforms.
