Golder Associates is seeking a Senior Environmental Assessment Specialist to join our Cambridge or Mississauga office. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities:
* Provide a senior leadership role in all aspects of our project work and business development.
* Management of multi-disciplinary teams for preparation of Environmental Assessments, permits and approvals.
* Build and develop new opportunities with existing clients and develop new client base.
* Expand Golder's rapport with regulatory agencies and industry.
* Develop and manage permit compliance, environmental and auditing programs.
* Manage and coordinate a complex range of land and resource issues, constraints and solutions affecting various jurisdictions.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Minimum 10 years experience in planning, designing and carrying out environmental assessments.
* A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a related field (environmental sciences, environmental planning, resource management).
* Highly effective leadership abilities.
* Proven success in managing multidisciplinary environmental assessment projects.
* A successful track record of marketing consulting services.
* Experience mentoring employees is desirable.
