To assist in the delivery of projects in the cultural, tourism, recreational planning and development space, IBI Group is hoping to add another driven and dynamic planner to an already formidable roster of industry leaders.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
• Undertake and complete a range of market assessments and planning studies for both public and private sector clients (A significant component of this work requires an aptitude for demographic research and analysis.)
• Coordinate and participate in communication with various government agencies and other stakeholders;
• Assist with the preparation of policies, strategic plans and other types of reports and presentations; • Be required to multi-task, including the management of multiple projects and staff workloads, while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
The "ideal" candidate will:
• Hold an advanced degree in Planning (Urban, Town, City, Regional or otherwise) with a complementary breadth of academic exposure to political science, urban design, sociology, economics;
• Have some experience in a planning environment;
• Be a member of, or at least be eligible for membership with the CIP and/or OPPI.
