Geomatics Project Manager

Job Description:


• GNSS Data Processing and Analysis
• Will be Working overseas for 6 months
• Project planning, scheduling, initiation and organization.
• Development of fully detailed project plans
• Project status reports and progress updates.
• Risk management and decision making.
• Performance monitoring and management.
• Coordination with multiple work teams and field crews
• Communication with clients, agents, sub-contractors, etc.
• Requirement Identification for new software/ hardware tools.
• Daily management of all operational aspects of any project.
• Track project deliverables using the appropriate tools
• Implementation and management of project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Evaluation and Assessment of project results and deliverables.

Qualifications for the position include:


• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in Geomatics, Electrical, Civil or related Engineering discipline
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Extensive Knowledge in GNSS theory and practice is a must.
• Experience with GNSS surveys is a must.
• Will be managing a large scale GNSS project including establishing a CORS network, data collection, processing, and analysis
• Knowledge in airborne surveys is an asset.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft office platform is a must.
• Capable of handling multiple projects, working under pressure and ensuring adequate quality on products and services.
• Excellent communication skills and technical writing skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
