Junior Transportation Planner

The primary duties of the Junior Transportation Planner include providing transportation planning and traffic engineering services for public and private sector clients. This includes traffic operations studies, traffic impact studies and parking studies. Participation in other projects include corridor studies, environmental assessments, active transportation, and transportation demand management. Will assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports and participate in client meetings, public information meetings and hearings.  Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or related field. 2+ years related transportation and traffic experience preferred. Candidate should possess computer skills using Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), microsimulation and Synchro/Sim Traffic, and AutoCAD and / or Microstation preferred. Strong organizational, verbal and written skills. Ability to multi-task while working on many projects at once. A positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
